John Anthony Renews Commitment to Community Philanthropy
At John Anthony Vineyards, we prioritize our commitment to philanthropy and community impact. Each year, we renew and strengthen our commitment with partnerships and contributions to two significant Napa Valley events: The V Foundation Wine Celebration and Harvest STOMP.
V Foundation Wine Celebration: August 1st-4th
John Anthony Vineyards has been an active supporter of the V Foundation for over a decade. We are honored to be a part of the V Foundation Wine Celebration, taking place from August 1st-4th in the heart of Napa Valley. The V Foundation Wine Celebration weekend brings together wine enthusiasts, philanthropists, and the broader Napa community to raise funds and awareness in support of cutting-edge cancer research. Our collective goal—Victory Over Cancer.
The highly-anticipated Rock the V Party and Concert on August 2, 2024, will feature special pourings of John Anthony wines like La Dame Michele Blanc de Mélange, Sauvignon Blanc from Church Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, and other exclusive wine offerings. These wines will be paired alongside gourmet food pairings prepared by our Estate Chef, previously of the French Laundry. All proceeds from this premier wine country fundraiser will benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research, a non-profit organization founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach, Jim Valvano.
Harvest STOMP: August 24th
John Anthony Vineyards is proud to support Harvest STOMP as the Presenting Partner. This beloved fundraising event, taking place on August 24, 2024, supports Napa Valley Grapegrowers and the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation. Throughout the event, we will be pouring exclusive John Anthony wines like the La Dame Michele Blanc de Mélange, Sauvignon Blanc from Carneros, and Cabernet Sauvignon from Coombsville.
As the Presenting Partner of STOMP, John Anthony Vineyards will contribute funds, resources, and wines to support the event. This annual fundraiser generates millions of dollars to provide education aimed at preserving agricultural land and addressing critical issues such as wildfire, water, soil, and climate concerns. Additionally, it supports Napa Valley's vineyard workers through education and professional development, including adult literacy programs, management training, and mentorship initiatives to cultivate the next generation of industry leaders.
John Anthony Vineyards is honored to support these remarkable causes. Our commitment to the Napa Valley community and the wine industry drives us to contribute to initiatives that protect our environment and empower our workforce. Through education and development programs, we aim to ensure the continued prosperity and sustainability of Napa Valley.
