In the glass, notice bright ruby-purple hues with enticing aromas of red currant, bay leaf, and blood orange and hints of clove and dark pitted fruits. On the palate, vibrant red berry fruit flavors are joined by ripe black plum notes with accents of savory fresh herbs, winter spices, and river stone adding complexity.

This balanced, energetic cabernet sauvignon presents aromas of currant, raspberry, cherry, plum and blue fruits with notes of cigar box, leather and vanilla. On the palate, dark red fruits gain complexity with suggestions of huckleberry, brambleberry, fresh herbs and baking spices. A compact texture finishes long with silky tannins and fine acidity. From our favorite vineyards, an exemplary rendition of Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon.

Sumptuous, aromatic red and black fruits abound in this classic Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon. The palate is rich, dense and chewy with wonderful tannin structure and layers of dark cherry and cassis. A vigorous finish leaves notes of muddled dark fruits and mocha overtones.

2005’s winter rains took pause for a dry, mild March, then began again with record-setting precipitation late into the growing season, delaying bloom and set. The summer months were cool and pleasant with few heat spikes. Fog and cool temperatures were a concern heading into September as sugar levels were yet to rise in all varieties. Warm, nearly perfect conditions arrived with an Indian Summer making for a later-than-average harvest, providing winemakers with fruit with extended hang and ultimately realizing excellent sugar development and balanced acids with a larger-than-average crop of what could be a signature vintage from Napa Valley.

Sourced from choice vineyards throughout the Napa Valley. After 15 years the 2003 vintage Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon continues to develop with stunning complexity. The power of its Napa Valley terroir is balanced with the elegance of maturity. A bouquet of red and black fruit intermingles with an array of spices and rich earthy tones that bloom with decanting. The wine tastes younger than its age with notable fruit. Flavors of dried and macerated berry flavors, dark stone fruit, leather and sweet tobacco. The tannins envelop with soft structure and the acidity is energetic in its age.
