John Anthony Vineyards

A wet winter and spring, surprising June and mid-October showers made this vintage one of the wettest in recent history. Honey colored with fragrances of sweet orange blossom and pear mingle with honeysuckle and grains of paradise. The flavors are deep and rich with orange crème brulée and caramelized nectarine, butterscotch and marzipan.

Fog and cool temperatures late into September. The copper hue showcases the wine’s graceful aging while aromas of baked Fuji apple and candied Mission fig, white truffle and linseed imply enhanced complexity from the cellar. Peach preserves and ripe tropical fruit flavors comingle with dried sweet herbs and juniper.
