“The La Dame Michele Blanc de Mélange is the fifth release from our sparkling wine series. A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this sparkling has backbone and body, supple fruit and a fragrant delicacy that will age beautifully. With a light peach hue, the Blanc de Mélange’s color matches its stone fruit aromas along with a bouquet of chrysanthemum and chamomile. The palate has energetic focus, creamy bubbles and structured fruit and spice. Pluots, white strawberries, ginger and French toast intertwine with notable balance. The finish is bright, rich and dry and is the most complex La Dame Michele to date.”

"This 2023 vintage is a traditional, barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc sourced from our estate Church Vineyard, nestled in Los Carneros AVA. A smooth, medium honey hue anticipates aromas of dried papaya and candied pineapple, followed by hints of cherimoya. A layered palate unfolds with precision, revealing notes of mango, blood orange pith, and fresh cut white flowers. Lively acidity evolves into a lasting finish. Crafted from a blend of Musqué (71%) and Western (29%) clones, barrel fermented and aged in 25% new French oak barrels for enhanced dimension and complexity. Only 200 cases produced."

"This is the second vintage of Syrah from the Carneros Gap Vineyard micro-estate. Celebrated for its unique location in the Los Carneros AVA it also neighbors the home of John Anthony Truchard. The wine’s deep-crimson hue anticipates the aromas of red fruits, black brambleberry, savory spices, and cured meats. Bright acidity balances into a smooth, velvety mouthfeel with flavors of fresh berries and a cool clean earthiness with savory hints of roasted game. Aged 22 months in 57% new French oak barrels. Only 250 cases produced."

"The smallest of our Oak Knoll Vineyards, Epps Vineyard is just under two acres of stony, loam acres with excellent drainage and produces about four barrels of wine per year. Black raspberries, blackberries, and Bing cherry aromas are punctuated with notes of dried leather, savory tobacco, and sweet oak. This Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a lean texture with commanding acidity and a mid-palate weight that seamlessly transitions from soft to broad. Aged in 85% new French oak. Only 150 cases produced."

"Covering just under four acres of the Oak Knoll District, the rich volcanic soils of R/D Vineyard are known for producing Cabernet Sauvignons with remarkable energy and powerful structure. Deep purple-garnet in the glass promises and delivers a bounty of both red and black fruits–ripe raspberry, wild strawberry, blackberry, and blackcurrant. On the palate find floral notes with subtle nuances of dried leather, sweet cigar, and sweet and savory spices. The 2020 vintage has impeccable structure and is notably dry from front to back, followed by a crescendo of acidity that splashes out and lingers gracefully. "Calistoga Vineyard is John Anthony’s northernmost Napa Valley estate, where warmer temperatures and rocky soils predominate. Hues of deep ruby-purple yield to engulfing aromas of brambly blackberry, black currant, and forest floor. The bouquet is echoed on the palate with accents of black cherry, black pepper, and cedar. Power meets elegance on the finish, displaying grainy tannins that release with softness and length. Aged for 28 months in 70 percent new French oak barrels. Only 200 cases produced."

"The Reserve Merlot represents an ultra-limited selection of the finest barrels from the vintage—all from Crane Vineyard, the first vineyard that John planted in 1996. Deep ruby-purple tones dominate in the glass. The bouquet is loaded with blue flowers, black cherry, and chocolate-covered espresso beans. Sturdy and structured on the palate, releasing flavors of pomegranate, kirsch, and anise. Firm tannins relax with velvety progression into an elegant yet powerful finish. “Epps Vineyard is the smallest of our Oak Knoll District estates at just under two acres—a coveted micro-site that yields exceptionally elegant Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich, ruby hues set the tone. A deep bouquet of currant and dried raspberry reveals hints of mocha, stone and sweet pipe tobacco. Flavors of savory berry compote, cherry and rhubarb carry trailing notes of leather, toffee, loam and cardamom. A light, dusty entry gains a firm grip on the mid-palate, all finishing with breadth, stature and balance. This vintage marks our second ultra-limited vineyard designate from this essential John Anthony estate. Aged for 28 months in 70 percent new French oak barrels, only 150 cases produced.”
