2021 John Anthony Napa Valley Chardonnay
“This chardonnay is the inaugural vintage sourced from our Jameson Canyon Vineyard in a cooler Napa Valley microclimate. Aromas of citrus blossom, lemon pound cake and apple beignets are lengthened by undercurrents of minerality. Essences of Fuji apple, poached pear and sea-salted shortbread bring volume to the palate. A chardonnay that combines classic Napa Valley character with John Anthony Vineyards style.”
Vintage Notes: A dry growing season in 2021 brought lower yields, early ripening and excellent fruit concentration to Napa Valley’s white varietals. The chardonnay fruit was fresh and full-flavored across the board—qualities that are abundant in this release of John Anthony Napa Valley Chardonnay.
