Spanning a modest four acres in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, Crane Vineyard was the first vineyard John both leased and planted, with Syrah vines planted in 1999. Deep purple tones in the glass anticipate an explosive bouquet of dark red summer fruits with a rich, dark plum core. Subtle hints of savory dried herbs add depth, complemented by distinctive leather undertones. On the palate, intense brambleberry and blueberry flavors expand with a hint of fresh mint, licorice, and savory olive tapenade notes. contributing.
