"This third release of Reserve Syrah is a single barrel sourced from Crane Vineyard in Oak Knoll. Generous aromas of wild black and blue fruit and plum sauce tinged with grilled savory herbs and bacon bits. Flavors of boysenberry and blueberry preserves, fresh fig, black olive, anise and grilled game develop slowly throughout a long finish and are especially pronounced when decanted. The palate is broad and commanding with a tension that indicates exceptional aging potential."
