"The 2024 Reserve Chardonnay is sourced from the Carneros Gap Vineyard, a site located in the rolling hills of the Los Carneros AVA in Napa Valley, shaped by wind and fog from San Pablo Bay. Striking golden straw hues with pale yellow highlights appear in the glass opening with aromas of baked apple, pineapple, and hints of citrus blossom, butterscotch, and flint. Flavors unfold with bright citrus tones of grapefruit and papaya, interwoven with white floral and vanilla notes and a refined streak of minerality. Creamy roundness evolves into a silky, vibrant finish carried by notable acidity and weight. This small-batch wine was aged 10 months sur lie in 67% new French oak, with 70% malolactic fermentation. Only 51 cases produced."
Sourced from the historic cool-climate gem, Jameson Canyon Vineyard, located in southeastern Napa Valley, this Chardonnay shines a brilliant yellow-gold. The perfectly balanced, bright, and firm texture promises to age gracefully for 15 years or more. Barrel fermented in 84% new French oak for 11 months. Only 75 cases produced.
An uneventful and easy growing season until mid-October rainstorms. Caramel and golden tones are perfumed with ripe passionfruit, baked lychee and framed by beeswax and toasted vanilla bean. Flavors of warm mango, tangerine marmalade, gingersnap and sumac have a bright energy and blossom with aeration.
