2007 John Anthony Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
A complex, luxurious nose of ripe dark berry, plum and cassis fruit with complementary scents of clove and nutmeg. On the lushly textured palate, the wine’s fresh, rich raspberry and red currant flavors are enriched by a savory oak undertone that frames the wine’s long, fruitful finish. The vibrant fruit, dramatic structure, linear acidity and fabulously ripe, dense tannins make this a tremendous wine, enjoyable now but more than capable of long-term aging.
"Rich, full-bodied and layered, with a mix of ripe currant, plum, spice and creamy oak notes that provide an appealing range of flavors. Texturally supple and harmonious, this gains depth and complexity on the finish, ending with a loamy earthiness” 92 Points | Wine Spectator
