2019 John Anthony Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes:
“This balanced, energetic cabernet sauvignon presents aromas of currant, raspberry, cherry, plum and blue fruits with notes of cigar box, leather and vanilla. On the palate, dark red fruits gain complexity with suggestions of huckleberry, brambleberry, fresh herbs and baking spices. A compact texture finishes long with silky tannins and fine acidity. From our favorite vineyards, an exemplary rendition of Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon.”
Vintage Notes:
The 2019 growing season was marked by much-needed early rainfall, followed by a warm, steady Napa Valley summer. Moderate conditions prevailed through harvest, teasing out vibrancy and structure in the cabernet sauvignon fruit from the John Anthony estates, throughout the Valley, as displayed in this John Anthony Napa Valley AVA series release.
