Sourced from the cool-climate gem Jameson Canyon Vineyard in southeastern Napa Valley, the 2024 Jameson Canyon Chardonnay gleams a bright straw-gold with a luminous core. The aromas are vibrant—pear blossom, cantaloupe, and lemon curd—which unfold into a touch of brioche, toasted hazelnut, a light barrel spice, and subtle salinity. On the palate, juicy pear and crisp apple lead, followed by stone fruit flavors and an echo of toffee and ginger. Silky and layered, bright natural acidity rides through the mid-palate and resolves in a slightly creamy, sur-lie polished finish. Barrel-fermented and aged nine months sur lie in 100% French Oak (20% new, 80% once-used), with 65% malolactic fermentation, this wine strikes a compelling balance of energy and texture—immediately enticing yet built to age with grace. 

The 2023 Crane Vineyard Syrah is striking in the glass with a dark, inky purple reflecting intensity and concentration. Aromas unfold with ripe plum, dark cherry and violet, accented by hints of black peppercorn and warm spice. The palate is plush and expressive, revealing rich flavors of blackberry, plum, and dark currant intertwined with mocha, cracked pepper, and earthy undertones. Integrated tannins provide structure while maintaining a velvety mouthfeel, and the vibrant acidity keeps the wine lifted and energetic through a lively, long finish.

The John Anthony Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is selected from the finest lots of the vintage, showcasing the depth and character of our estate vineyards. The 2022 vintage is driven by fruit from the rocky, hillside terrain of Twisted Oak Vineyard and reflects the power and precision of this rugged hillside site. Deep ruby-garnet hues introduce an aromatic profile of ripe black fruit layered with mint, eucalyptus, cedar, and delicate notes of dark chocolate and tobacco. Rich flavors of black currant and baked red fruit unfold across the palate, intertwined with vanilla bean, toasted spice, and subtle earthy complexity. Finely grained tannins and lively acidity lend remarkable poise, culminating in a long, polished finish. Aged for 28 months in 100% new French oak.

Calistoga Vineyard, John Anthony’s northernmost estate, benefits from warm daytime temperatures and rocky soils that drive concentration and depth. The 2021 vintage opens with a deep ruby hue in the glass, revealing expressive aromatics of blueberry and strawberry layered with bay leaf, violets, and a touch of pipe tobacco. On the palate, the wine reveals impressive depth, with dark cherry and pomegranate at the core unfolding into layers of chocolate and baking spices. Full-bodied and plush, velvety tannins provide both structure and elegance. Aged for 28 months in 83% New French Oak.
