“Great Wines are Grown in the Farmer’s Shadow”

A quintessential Cabernet Sauvignon from California’s next great wine region, crafted by a team of top Paso Robles winegrowers. Deep ruby-purple hues anticipate aromas of black raspberry, plum skin, clove, vanilla and forest floor. The mouthfeel is soft yet persistent, showing medium-bodied flavors of boysenberry, cola and Chambord with suggestions of nutmeg and dark chocolate. Fine-grained tannins release into a long, integrated finish. Aged in 55 percent new French and American oak barrels for 18 months.

The 2021 growing season was a winemaker’s dream in Paso Robles. Cool spring conditions yielded to warm and steady summer temperatures, followed by moderate weather into harvest. Patience was required as the grapes reached full maturity, and we were rewarded with excellent fruit structure and beautifully balanced flavors.
