"Most of the 2017 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon comes from our head-trained, dry-farmed vines in the Coombsville Vineyard, to which we add one barrel from our rocky, hillside Twisted Oak Vineyard. Aromas of boysenberry, huckleberry and black currant with notes of lilac, sweet pepper and graphite. Low yields from these vineyards produce an exceptional wine with intense, compact fruit and expressive tertiary flavors. Black-fruit jam, candied plum and wild berries with a touch of sweet herbs, potpourri and cedar create complexity on the palate. The finish is powerful, lengthy and memorable."
