2017 John Anthony Coombsville Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes:
"Consistency in the vineyard is rewarded in this twelfth release from our four-acre, dry-farmed head-trained estate in Coombsville. The perfume of blackberry, raspberry compote, spiced persimmon tinged with crushed gravel intensifies with aeration and calls for decanting. Bold flavors of brambleberry, Chambord and sweet cooking herbs are edged with tobacco flower, frankincense and graphite. The progression on the palate evolves from concentrated fruit to complex spices and finishes with impressive structure and energy."
