The northernmost of all our vineyards, this 10-acre Calistoga site receives the most warmth and is usually the first site to be picked come harvest. Nestled on the eastern side of Calistoga beneath the Palisades, its slightly rocky soils provide excellent drainage. John isolates the finest-producing blocks for the vineyard-designate John Anthony Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon. 

Calistoga AVA is known for its mineral-rich volcanic soils, rocky slopes, and warmer microclimate that creates rich, full-bodied wines with concentrated flavors.
