From the thousands of barrels of cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay John produces each year, he sets aside the best few for his Reserve wines, aging them a little longer in new French oak before releasing them. John refers to his Reserve wines as his “best in show” for that vintage. Although the origin of the vineyards may change depending on the vintage, the John Anthony Reserve wines show incredible complexity and their quality lends to longer aging in bottle to allow the acquirer of these wine to enjoy them upon release and up to 20 years cellared.
