A radiant vintage from John Anthony Vineyards, the 2018 La Dame Michele Napa Valley Blanc de Blanc marks the second single-vineyard release of La Dame Michele Sparkling. A wine born of the standards practiced by the great Sparkling houses, aged four years en tirage for added depth and finesse. Pale straw gold in the glass with a fine mousse, it opens on lifted aromas of white pear, citrus blossom, and toasted almond with a faint flint minerality. The palate is crisp: green apple and bright lemon pith, juicy white peach, and a touch of dried fig. Subtle accents of toasted hazelnut and almond crêpe round out the profile. Lively yet silky, the effervescence is refined with streamlined acidity. Elegant now, with the structure to age beautifully over time. 230 cases produced.
